Thanks for coming by!

This has been a journey in the making for over 20 years. We started down this path a long time ago while living in California.

Some of our adopted kids came to us from far away places too. We have told them, we search far and wide for each of them. With the internet we have looked in Korea, we looked in Russia. We even looked in Kazakhstan. (There we found Denise and Cary, but I will mention them later on in the blog)

Now for little Sydney we found her in China.  

But as you who have already  traveled this road the journey doesn’t end when we get off the plane to come home. Oh no, the life long journey has just begun. We plan on taking her to places she couldn’t have dreamed of. Her first day in Kindergarten, her … gymnastic class,   (maybe a trip to Disneyland),  the senior prom … that heart wrenching day we will drop her off at college. … then on to who knows where?

 I want to thank some of our friends who have helped us along the way. Kathy & Andy, for just being there! Kathleen & James for their lessons in Manderin and the Denise and Cary for their encouragement and showing us through their experience, It can come to reality.

 Also the gang at FCA of course the one and only Mary Kate who has been on this long walk with us the entire last year.…… and Fang and Lynn getting us through our journey and travels.
